3dplotter.xyz launched on January 19, 2026. As of May 21, 2026, 122 days later, it has generated $3,478 in revenue, with the vast majority attributed to AI search. Zero paid ads. Zero social posts shipped, so far. The entire growth engine was one platform: Reaudit, brand visibility for the agentic era. This is what it looks like when AI visibility carries a product on its own.

The 122-Day Timeline

Here's the headline number, updated as of today:

  • Launched: January 19, 2026

  • Today: May 21, 2026

  • Days live: 122

  • Cumulative revenue: $3,478

  • Growth since Part 5 (March 31): roughly +$2,000 in ~51 days

  • Trajectory: up and to the right, every month

For context, when we published Part 5 of this series in early April, total AI-attributed revenue stood at EUR 1,456. In the 51 days since, 3dplotter has added more revenue than it earned in the entire first 70 days combined, without us touching the marketing levers most founders reach for first.

What We Wanted to Prove

The 3dplotter case study has always been a controlled experiment. The hypothesis: a single platform, Reaudit, can carry a real, revenue-generating product through its first months purely on brand visibility inside AI engines.

To keep the signal clean, we intentionally constrained the channel mix to the parts of Reaudit that drive AI visibility directly:

  • The GTM strategy module that generated the entire content + positioning plan (covered in Part 4)

  • The direct build with Reaudit MCP in Cursor IDE, so every page was shaped by AI-visibility intelligence as it was written (Part 1)

  • The GEO and SEO work done inline with that build: schema, llms.txt, answer-first structure, internal linking

  • The AI visibility tracking and source tracking that tells us which prompts, models, and citations are converting into traffic and revenue (Parts 2, 3, 5)

Everything else, including Reaudit's own social media suite, has been deliberately left on the shelf so far. Not because we don't believe in it, but because we wanted the agentic-era story to stand on its own first.

The Marketing Stack: What We Used vs. What's Still on the Shelf

Here's the honest breakdown after 122 days.

Used (all inside Reaudit)

  • Reaudit GTM Strategy: one 6-module, 16-step strategy generated the ICP, positioning, content pillars, 90-day calendar, and funnel blueprint (Part 4).

  • Reaudit MCP in Cursor IDE: connected from the first commit. Every architectural decision, schema, and content piece was shaped by Reaudit tools called live in the IDE (Part 1).

  • Reaudit MCP in Claude: the same MCP server is wired into Claude (Desktop and Code), so the same brand-visibility tools, audits, optimization reports, prompt tracking, revenue attribution, are one call away from any agent or chat we're running.

  • Reaudit AI Agent as Head of Brand Visibility: the Reaudit AI agent runs as 3dplotter's de facto head of brand visibility. It watches prompt tracking, flags citation gaps, suggests content, and triggers regenerations when an answer slips on ChatGPT, Perplexity, or Google AI Overviews.

  • AI visibility + source tracking: the dashboards in Part 2 and Part 5 are running continuously. We see, per AI engine, which mentions and citations turn into clicks, sessions, and Stripe payments.

  • Content Factory: 19 pieces of content (Part 4) generated, optimized, and shipped inside Reaudit. No external CMS, no freelance writers.

Not used yet

  • $0 on Google Ads

  • $0 on Meta (Facebook / Instagram) Ads

  • $0 on TikTok, Reddit, Pinterest, or any other paid platform

  • 0 outbound emails, cold DMs, or BD calls

  • 0 paid newsletter sponsorships or influencer placements

  • 0 PR pitches, no press coverage chased

  • 0 social posts published, on any platform, despite Reaudit's built-in social suite being fully wired up and ready to publish from inside the app. Activating it is the next chapter, not a missing one.

The point isn't that 3dplotter is anti-social or anti-ads. It's that we wanted to isolate the agentic-era variable: how far does AI brand visibility alone carry a product? The answer so far is $3,478 in 122 days, with most of the curve still ahead of us.

What Changed Between Part 5 and Part 6

Between April 2 (Part 5 publication) and May 21 (today), the underlying mechanics did not change. We didn't pivot. We didn't redesign the site. We didn't launch a new product line. We did three quiet things, all inside Reaudit:

1. We let citations compound

By the end of Part 5, Perplexity, ChatGPT, and Google AI were already citing 3dplotter in product-comparison queries. Citations beget citations: when one AI engine references a brand in its answer, that answer becomes scrape-able training data for the next model generation. In 51 days, the citation base widened from "strong in pen plotter comparisons" to "default answer when anyone asks about converting a 3D printer into a plotter."

2. The Reaudit AI agent kept prompt tracking honest

The 41 prompts from Part 3 ran weekly the entire time, with the Reaudit AI agent acting as the always-on operator. Whenever a prompt slipped, for example, when ChatGPT briefly started recommending a competitor on "best pen plotter under $50", the agent surfaced the drop, suggested the angle for a corrective article, and the content was generated and shipped inside Reaudit's content factory. No firefighting. No guessing. Just an agent doing the head-of-brand-visibility job.

3. We did not dilute the moat

It was tempting to flip the switch on Reaudit's social suite, or run a small Google Ads test "just to see." We held the line. The single-channel discipline, AI brand visibility only, meant every dollar of revenue was a clean signal that the playbook works. No confounding variables. No "well, maybe it was the LinkedIn post."

The Agentic Era Math

This experiment matters far beyond pen plotters. It's a controlled test of a bigger thesis: in the agentic era, brand visibility inside AI engines becomes the load-bearing marketing channel. Not the only one, but the one everything else compounds on top of.

When AI agents, ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Claude, and the wave of vertical agents coming behind them, become the default discovery surface for products, the calculus of marketing inverts:

  • Old world: pay Google to rent attention at the moment of intent. Stop paying, attention stops.

  • New world: earn a citation inside an AI model's answer once. That citation gets re-cited, summarized, and embedded into the next generation of models. The half-life of a paid ad click is measured in seconds. The half-life of an AI citation is measured in model versions.

3dplotter is the proof-of-concept. $3,478 in 122 days, with no paid distribution and the social suite still idle, is a glimpse of what a small product team can look like in 2027.

Why This Compounds (and Paid Ads Don't)

The single biggest mental shift for founders moving into the agentic era is understanding the compounding curve of AI brand visibility:

  • Paid ads: linear function of spend. $1 in, ~$X out. Stop spending, traffic drops to zero on day one.

  • Social media: linear function of posting velocity. Powerful when activated with a real strategy, dead the moment posting stops. We'll layer it on once the AI brand visibility base is solid.

  • SEO: slow exponential, increasingly mediated by the same AI engines we're already optimizing for.

  • AI brand visibility: step-function exponential. One strong comparison page, cited once by Perplexity, can become a permanent fixture of every model's answer in a category at no recurring cost.

Combine that with the content moat from Part 4 and the prompt-tracking discipline from Part 3, plus a Reaudit AI agent running as head of brand visibility, and the system runs without a marketing team. Which is exactly what 3dplotter has been doing for the last 51 days.

What 4 Months of Pure AI Brand Visibility Looks Like, The Numbers

Pulled directly from Reaudit's get_revenue_attribution tool, as of May 21, 2026:

  • Total revenue (Jan 19 to May 21): $3,478

  • AI-attributed share: roughly 70% of all sales

  • Primary AI revenue drivers: ChatGPT (#1), Perplexity (#2), Google AI Overviews (#3)

  • Conversion rate from AI traffic: 6 to 7%, more than double the e-commerce baseline

  • Category rank vs competitors: #1 in AI mentions, ahead of AxiDraw (a $475 incumbent)

  • Marketing spend: $0 (excluding the Reaudit subscription that powers all of the above)

Net contribution margin is roughly equal to revenue. 3dplotter is a digital product (a one-time web app license at EUR 29.90). No fulfillment cost. No support overhead beyond a small community channel.

Five Lessons for the Agentic Era

1. Pick one platform, work the whole stack. The reason this story is clean is that everything, GTM, MCP build, content, prompt tracking, AI agent, attribution, lives inside Reaudit. One platform, many modules, one source of truth for brand visibility.

2. Let an AI agent run brand visibility. The Reaudit AI agent acts as a always-on head of brand visibility for 3dplotter. It watches prompts, flags slippage, suggests fixes, and triggers content. That's a full-time role compressed into an agent.

3. Citations are durable. Ads are not. Every dollar invested in AI brand visibility, content, schema, prompt tracking, MCP-driven builds, compounds. Every dollar spent on a Google Ad evaporates the moment the campaign ends.

4. Social is a multiplier, not the base. Reaudit's social suite is ready when we are. It will layer on top of strong AI brand visibility, not replace it. Activating it earlier would have polluted the signal we wanted from this experiment.

5. Agentic-era brands need to be cited, not advertised. If your category-defining question gets asked of ChatGPT or Perplexity, and your brand isn't in the answer, no amount of ad spend in 2027 will save you. Reaudit exists to make sure you're in the answer.

What's Next: Activate the Multipliers

At the current ~$2,000-per-51-day run rate, 3dplotter will cross $10,000 in cumulative AI-attributed revenue around September 2026. That milestone is interesting not because $10K is a lot of money, it's because it will have been earned by a product team of one, with no marketing department, no ads budget, and no social media manager, in a niche maker-tools category.

From here, the experiment opens up. The next phase activates Reaudit's social suite on top of the existing brand-visibility base, then layers paid distribution on top of that. We'll be able to measure exactly how much lift each layer adds, because the baseline is so cleanly attributed to AI visibility alone.

The bigger story is the template. Any founder, any product, any niche, can run this exact playbook starting today. The only thing they need is the same single platform 3dplotter has used from the first commit: Reaudit.

The Series So Far

This is Part 6 of our case study on building 3dplotter.xyz with Reaudit from the first commit:

  • Part 1: Built to Be Cited, architecting for AI visibility from day one

  • Part 2: 726 mentions, 11,204 citations, what AI engines say about 3dplotter

  • Part 3: 41 prompts, 1,521 queries, the prompt tracking strategy

  • Part 4: 19 articles, 1 GTM strategy, the content moat

  • Part 5: EUR 1,456 from AI, revenue attribution to ChatGPT and Perplexity

  • Part 6: $3,478 in 4 months, powered by Reaudit, brand visibility for the agentic era (this article)

FAQ Section

How much revenue has 3dplotter generated since launch?

As of May 21, 2026, 122 days after launch on January 19, 2026, 3dplotter has generated $3,478 in cumulative revenue. The majority is attributed to AI brand visibility through ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Google AI Overviews, tracked inside Reaudit.

What is Reaudit?

Reaudit is the brand visibility platform for the agentic era. It tracks how a brand appears across AI engines (ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Claude), generates GTM and content strategies, exposes 162+ tools through an MCP server usable from Cursor IDE and Claude, runs an AI agent that operates as a head of brand visibility, attributes revenue back to specific AI sources, and includes a built-in social media suite to publish from inside the app.

How much did 3dplotter spend on advertising?

$0. Across 122 days, 3dplotter ran zero paid advertising campaigns on Google, Meta, TikTok, Reddit, or any other platform. The only marketing spend was the Reaudit subscription that powers the entire stack.

Does 3dplotter use social media?

Not yet. 3dplotter has not published a single social post during the period covered by this case study. Reaudit's built-in social media suite is fully connected and ready to publish from inside the app, we just chose to leave it idle so the AI-brand-visibility signal would stay clean. Activating it is the next phase.

How is Reaudit used inside Cursor IDE and Claude?

Reaudit exposes 162+ tools through an MCP server. In Cursor IDE, those tools are called live while building, so optimization reports, schema generators, prompt trackers, and revenue attribution all run alongside the code. The same MCP is connected to Claude (Desktop and Code), so any Claude chat or agent can invoke the same brand-visibility tooling.

What is "Reaudit AI agent as head of brand visibility"?

It's the Reaudit AI agent configured to act as the always-on operator of a brand's AI visibility. For 3dplotter, it monitors the 41 tracked prompts, flags citation slippage, proposes content to close gaps, and triggers the content factory when an answer drifts on ChatGPT, Perplexity, or Google AI Overviews. A full-time head-of-brand-visibility role compressed into an agent.

What does "brand visibility for the agentic era" mean?

The agentic era is the period, already starting in 2026, when AI agents like ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, and Claude become the default surface where users discover products. Brand visibility for that era is no longer about ranking blue links, it's about being cited inside the AI answer itself. Reaudit is built for that shift.

Why do AI citations compound while paid ads do not?

Paid ads are linear: stop paying, traffic stops. AI citations are step-function exponential, a single citation in Perplexity or ChatGPT can be re-cited by other models, summarized into training data for next-generation models, and re-served to users for years. The cost is paid once; the visibility compounds.

Could other founders replicate the 3dplotter playbook?

Yes. The playbook, architect for AI visibility from day one with Reaudit MCP, generate a GTM strategy in Reaudit, ship a content moat through the content factory, track 30 to 50 prompts weekly, and let the Reaudit AI agent run brand visibility, is exactly what Reaudit provides out of the box. 3dplotter ran it on hard mode (no ads, no social, yet) to isolate the signal.

What is the next milestone for 3dplotter?

At the current ~$2,000-per-51-day run rate, 3dplotter will cross $10,000 in cumulative AI-attributed revenue around September 2026. After that, we activate Reaudit's social suite on top of the existing brand-visibility base and measure exactly how much lift it adds.

3dplotter.xyz converts any 3D printer into a pen plotter for EUR 29.90. Brand visibility for the agentic era, GTM strategy, MCP-driven builds in Cursor IDE and Claude, AI agent as head of brand visibility, content factory, prompt tracking, and revenue attribution, all powered by Reaudit.
